I’m Just A Kid From Goldsboro
A small military town in North Carolina. If you look hard enough on a map, you’ll still probably miss it. Now you may be staring at the screen right now asking “But, Stacey what does that have to do with why I’m looking at your portfolio?” And you would have a point. So instead of trying to paint a picture of my entire life, let’s just break this thing down:

From the 7th grade when I learned I could write after being grounded for not doing my English homework for a couple of… months, until the day I walk off into the sunset never to be seen again or the aliens finally come for our planet.

Currently in Atlanta, GA – previously in North Carolina, Alaska, South Georgia & Texas (shout out military brats) – In the future, who knows?

Because I couldn’t imagine doing anything else… unless Pokémon were real then I’d be a Pokémon trainer and none of this would matter.

With words? Sometimes using pencil and paper, but nowadays mainly on a computer. Oh! And with the ability to function on as little as 4 hours of sleep on a consistent basis.

• The Lion King & Django: Unchained are the greatest movies of all time. Avatar, The Last Airbender is the greatest TV show of all time (these are non-debatable facts)
• As a kid I wanted to be an astronomer (not an astronaut), then an archeologist, then chemist, then a chef
• Once I’m invested in something, I have to see how the plot plays out. (almost ended up in a pyramid scheme because of this)
• I tend to overwrite when I don’t know what to say. (Hence this list)
